Just put a Tow-Pac trike kit on my 2008 1800N. A local rider advised the next tire change on bike itself should be car tires. A former employee of local Honda shop said auto tires on this type of trike is very unsafe. Anyone have experience with this situation?

A car tire on the bike should work well as you're not leaning as with a 2 wheeler. IMO, the former Honda employee was trying to give you the crash and burn story. Post some pics please, I'd like to see it.

My rears are car tires. The front is BT45 running in reverse. Don't know what the 4 wheelers do.

what's the point in running it in reverse? Just wondering...
Some say it's for better braking, I couldn't tell you. I run mine in the forward direction to push the water out. I'm on my 2nd one, I got 33,000 miles out of the last one. YMMV

It's a hot debate on the trike forums. I don't know the details but when the majority state over 50,000 miles, who am I to argue.
