will it fit the cobra backrest,add on hondaline says it will fit the honda backrest. Thanks for thr help.

I believe they make different backrest pads for the various styles of sissy bars. I know the one that fits the Cobra sissy bar is different than the Hondaline one.

This is from the ultimateseats.ca website:

The pad comes with stainless steel screws and fits on your Standard or Deluxe Hondaline sissy bar and is available for any other make sissybar.

I would guess that is something you need to specify when you order the seat. If you're buying used then make sure you check to see which one they have.

actually they will ask for the measurements of the holes on your backrest. I have cobra backrest,,,,,,,and it was perfect fit

LOL Yeah, when I bought a used seat, it came with a backrest pad, but no sissy bar. The pad was a custom jobbie, and given the hole configuration, we couldn't figure out what sissy it was made for. So I had to have a custom sissy made and get it chromed. Oddly, I think the part and the chrome is going to end up being about 125... that's not bad at all. But the part maker is a buddy. I'm actually just about on my way out the door to pick up the sissy from the chromer!

Got my chromed sissy back finally.. along with my chromed rear fender. That's going to be a fun project! Wife loves her new backrest.
