I did a search but have not found what I am looking for. I found the step by step with pictures for the 1300 but I was hoping to find one for the 1800. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Same proceedure for the 1800. The only difference is the valve clearance. In the tech.vtxoa.com site, you will see the difference in the clearance near the end of the article.

Thanks, guys! I had found that article and when I saw it was for a 1300 I assumed there would be a difference . I read through some of it but did not make it down far enough to see it could be used for the 1800.

It seems to me that during the valve adjustments it might be a good time for the desmog mod?

Anytime the tank comes off is a great time for the desmog. Cleans things up underneath. Also time toi do the ground fix and quick disconnects for the fuel line.
