You can pull the baffles completely, or you can cut the packing in 1/2. Both will result in loader pipes.

You can run into problems of not enough back pressure if you remove the baffles totally....Id avoid that one.

Im not sure what kinda of baffling they have but on my cobra slash cuts I did the biddy mod and cut the cheesegrater part of the baffling out and welded in a strait pipe so they were like drag pipes then I used the thumb screw method to get the back pressure I needed. Much louder pipes that arent blatty and have the correct amount of back pressure.

I tried it with baffles and packs completely off with my V&H Cruzers with no problems. It was definately much louder, but it had like an echoing sound, like it was hallow, a feed back or something. I kept the baffles and took the fiberglass packs off. You just have to tinker and see which one fits you.

How long have you had them. Mine seem a lot louder now than when I bought them. My cronies tell me that the packing "burns out" a little after a while. If they are new you may give them some time. ANd there is always the "keep her gagged" approach for volume!!
