Proud owner of a 2007 vtx 1300c! Working on getting the oil changed, flushing the coolant and having a new set of skins put on.

Anyone over on the west side of the state hit me up for a cruise down scenic!

First street bike ever but raced motocross for over a decade. Recently got the bug again and the wife gave me the green light to get a cruiser!

Welcome to the VTXOA!
TWO drain plugs for the oil change.
Speedometer reads 10% higher than actual speed. Odometer is about 4% higher than actual.

Front tire, you tighten the left pinch bolts to hold the axle so that you can tighten the axle bolt.
Then you loosen the Left pinch bolts and bounce the front up/down a few times.
Then tighten pinch bolts. A verification is a small groove on the left side outside of the fork.
That groove is usually visible or partially visible.

I do mine slightly different, same result.
Tighten axle bolt > axle turns many times, fork tube will find its natural location. Tighten pinch bolts and axle bolt to torque spec.

A film of grease on the axles to prevent rust/oxidation.

Well tell your wife thanks.does she let you wear your gonads when you ride? Welcome from Arkansas. My wife rides her own when she's not riding on back of my bike.
