 Viking Motorcycle company:
Does anyone here know how to get someone from this piece of Shiite company to answer the phone or e-mail? I placed an order that should have been filled a long time ago and I can't get any response from this crappy company. They say it was shipped according to the email that they sent me. Of course they gave me a usless tracking number that UPS can't use and means absolutly nothing to anyone but them. I would not recommend anyone buy anything from these idiots. They won't respond to e-mails, all of their mailboxes are full, so you can't leave a message, they have an operator option that is another general delivery mailbox that you need to know who the heck your looking for to leave a message. This is about the worse company, no I take that back this is the worse company that I have ever dealt with and I deal with a lot of internet companies. I can't imagine that they will stay in business with this type of service and I'm beggining to think that I'm out $200.00 because of it. If you like throwing money away then order something through these morons and I'm sure you will be satisfied, otherwise stay the hell away from these guys/gals. I'm not happy with this whole deal and will never, ever order another product through this company and will be telling anyone that will listen not to either. I guess they are just looking to take people's money and give them nothing in return. Not good business sense but if you can get away with it....

Hey,

Sorry to hear you're having problems. It really sucks when things like this happen. That said, I don't think you'll lose your money - this company is generally well supported and endorsed by many on this forum. As Hick says, Andy is the one to resolve this matter. I think your issues are likely the exception and not the rule with this company. I know that's little consolation given that the fact remains that you are having such difficulty with them. I guess though I understand your position as far as never doing business with them again - I just want to offer some reassurance that you will likely be able to resolve this eventually. They're not crooks. You'll eventually get your money or your product. And you're doing the right thing in sharing your negative experience - but it is in my understanding atypical for this company. My experience with them was reasonable. In the future you might try http://www.meancycles.com They're based in MIami and I don't think they're as well known (not ot be confused with www.meancitycycles.com) but I've ordered a few things from them as well and found them to be fast, responsive, and reliable. Good luck.

Thanks guy's, I guess I just needed a place to vent some frustrations. This was supposed to be shipped via UPS 3 weeks ago. I've ordered other things from other companies since then and I have them already. I think if they would give a decent tracking number then all of this could have been avoided. The number they give is usless to UPS. I have heard some good things about the company and Andy in general but when all of the mailboxes are full it's hard to get in touch with anyone. Thanks for listening anyway, that helps, and is sometimes all you need to calm things back down to a level you can live with lol.

I had the same problem, finally after a month of no seat, cancelled the order and went to honda direct line. Ordered it on July 2 at my door on the 6, Honda direct line was great Would suggest deal with them, By the way it was Mustang seat that never got here from VMC Good luck Ps all I got from VMC was it will be delivered the next day But they didnt say from what day. Not real happy with there response and lack of ability to get things done.

I am all against bashing anyone or company over the net but Viking is one that I will drop the dime on everytime. Poor customer service and will flat out lie to get you off the phone. To make a long story short I order a part from them they said they had in stock. 3 weeks later I called back and was told they didn't have the part and hadn't had the part for sometime but the order was coming in the next day...to keep it short 3 phone calls and 4 weeks later I called and cancelled the order and got the same part from HDL one week later. I said then, I would never even consider them when ordering parts.

I agree with Allen, here. I have had a horrible time with this company and am still awaiting an order that was to have been delivered yesterday.

Unlike the treatment I received from Mean City. Allen is top of the shelf and over the top. I only with BadX sold the other stuff I need to make my X, just right. The seat is killer!!!

I've only had one experience with Viking and it was all good.
Sent them a list of parts etc. that I needed to ix the bike after a wreck. I got their sale price less 8%, great communication, friendly service from both Justin and Andy, and prompt shipping.

Looks like some have had good luck with Viking and others think they suck sh*t through a dirty straw!! One Company I have never heard anything negative about (doesn't mean they're perfect) is Cruiser Customizing. I bought from them a least a dozen times and was perfectly satisfied with their service on every single occasions! Just thought I'd give credit where cradit is due!

Alright Floodgates, way to stir the pot for me man. Now let's talk about Cruiser Customizing - I ordered my Roadhouse slip-ons from them. They sent me a Samson exhaust for a Harley instead. My order said Roadhouse and my packing slip said Roadhouse, so how someone there could look at a box that had SAMSON EXHAUST written on all 6 sides in huge letters, pull it off the shelf and send it to me is not easy to explain. But wait it gets better. Then when I tried to get them to send me the correct product they accused me of trying to commit fraud - they claimed that they didn't even carry Samson exhaust systems - moreover they said that according to their computers their inventory of Roadhouse slip-ons was reduced by one as a consequence of my order, i.e. as far as they were concerned they sent me a Roadhouse system. I explained that I could return the Samson Exhaust in the original box with the original UPS sticker unaltered and intact. I did exactly that, and eventually - about a month after the order was paid in full - I received my Roadhouse slip-ons. I guess all of these companies are prone to moments of mediocrity...by the way, I actually read about another guy who had a similar experience in ordering Roadhouse slip-ons from them, i.e. they sent the wrong item - don't know if he was accused of fraud though. Maybe I should have reconsidered after reading his post?? Anyway it eventually worked out - I wasn't "ripped-off" - though I avoid them - hence my previous endorsement of Mean Cycles in Miami.

VERYYYYYYYYYY poor experience at Viking for me...I'll never buy from them again.

If you do order don't be in a hurry and don't ever expect to get any kind of status on your order.

I am on my second order. So far each order took more than three weeks to ship and my last order is going on a month. Checking my statement they charged me for the sale the day after I placed the order. That was 22 days ago... :(
