Testing Ignition system and making a "Peak Voltage Adapter"
Peak voltage adapter uses a diode to gate pulses to the capacitor which
charges to the peak voltage.
Honda shows IGN coil with100 peak volts at cranking speed is good.
With engine running I have measured 276 peak volts.
I used diode and capacitor from TV parts or old radio parts or purchased some.

I test my ignition system this way:

• Insert key
• Turn to 'ON'
• Press Start
• Engine starts
