Lefty1998 posted a thread for the use of the JBM Industries K-72 diaphragm in the VTX.
I ordered the K-72 but did not like some of the fitment at the slide valve.
I did some mods that I was comfortable with.
I also found out that a K-72S diaphragm had a smaller diameter ID that would fit into the groove on the slide valve.

One YT video showed someone having trouble with keeping the diaphragm in place. I just pop a 3/4" socket partially in the throttle body to hold the slide in place and never had an issue with the diaphragm coming out of the groove.
For when you have one hand on the carb and the slide valve cover with a spring and putting screws in.

1300 carb with accelerator pump spray.
Some diaphragms have gone bad or check valve stuck.
Long term parking makes a mess in the carb.
