I seem to be adding Mobil1 10w40 racing oil (synthetic) often, maybe totaling 1 qt every 1000-1500 miles. No signs of leakage and it doesn't seem to be burning. Any thoughts on this? It's a 2009 with 20,000 miles on it.

If there are no visible leaks then it is burning oil...

If you have an aftermarket air cleaner it may be sucking oil through the breather hose...

If you have a stock air cleaner then you may have a mechanical issue...

I found mine to be a valve cap that wasnt tight and never knew where the oil was going till I started pulling it apart to fix the eng. it sounds like about the same amount of loss mine had. just pop the tank off and check the valve covers n make sure its not weeping down some hidden passage up there somewhere.
