Does such thing exist or is the bike listing in my local CL wrong. The guy printed out the entire spec sheet to sell his 1800c. But its obvious hes added some items...new tires etc. One of wich I beleive is "California Legal catalizer emisions" bla bla bla. Are all 1800 vtx exhaust the same across the 50 states or is there a California Emisions version ???. Its a nice clean silver 20k mile F model however if it has California Exhaust Ill pass.

OEM CA mufflers have O2 sensors on them, some fine tuning of emissions.
Resistors are used to make the ECM happy if after market exhaust has been put on
and no place for O2 sensors.

CA version should not be deal breaker.

No... Parts fiche has the A=49 states, AC= 50 states(49+CA)
I use Partzilla dot com because it has one of the easiest parts locator and has some of the best prices.

VTX1800F1 A
VTX1800F1 AC
VTX1800F2 A
VTX1800F2 AC
VTX1800F3 A
VTX1800F3 AC

California part C. Spike showed on a previous post.

Is it the 05 1800F in Pearland?? $$4,000
ECU-controlled, closed-loop emission control system utilizes an air injection system and three-way exhaust catalyzer to simultaneously reduce emissions of hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx). California model exceeds CARB 2008 standards.

THEN HE wrote::
Cobra Exhaust pipes with
Cobra FI2000 PowrPro Black Fuel Management System
• With PowrPro you can say good-bye to old-school EFI "mapping mania" and O2 sensor hassles forever. When your bike accelerates, PowrPro reads the engine's performance up to 80 times per second to optimize fuel delivery at all throttle openings under acceleration, under every kind of load and under all existing environmental conditions to deliver maximum acceleration
• No dyno testing to determine the right map
• No confusing computer-mapping downloads to select and install
• No welding hassles with O2 sensors or costly pipe changes

So now it does NOT meet CA standards anyway....OK in Texas...... Probably has the O2 eliminator resistors...
