You should have an owners manual if you got it new. As for a service manual, you can get one here, http://www.hondadirectlineusa.com/vtx/p ... =508475904 or I got mine on Ebay.

 

Serice manual is a must for anyone who wants to do their own maintenance. Got mine thru HDL and use it all the time.

 

HDL is a good source for a service manual and there are others. Regardless, get a real service manual. It has some great cross sectional drawings that clearly show the what/where/why of the 1800 and includes many clear/close photos to assist when you get ready to do a clutch or adjust the valves. (although I find it interesting that most of the valve adjustment photos are of an engine not in the frame!

Brought the one on E-bay for $40.00 It's exactly like the ones from HDL. This is my 3rd one in 2 years (Different Bikes). I bought the other 2 from HDL. It'll save you a few $$
