OK, I'm new to the board and about ready to buy an 1800 Retro. Can anyone tell me the overall length of this bike. (clearance for enclosed trailer).
Thanks,
Tom

I know its over 8 ft, in our long bed truck the tailgate needs to be down to clear the fender. Can't remember how many inches over 8ft it is though.

I was measuring mine last night for the same reason, I believe that fender tip to fender tip, it is about 9 feet. I'm going to go with a 12ft trailer, just to be safe.

Mine is 9 ft 3 in! I went so fast one day it streched it out just a little.
It must be a BLACK X thing.... same issues here.... might solve the fastes color debate once and for all.

Tom,

As a reference point: I have a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer and I fit my Retro and my better half's Yamaha cruiser in there (stagered) with room to spare length-wise.
