Fantastic job!! Absolutely beautiful bike. Impressive skill set, Mr. Incredible.
lol:Now we just need an action shot of you on the bike looking like a bad dude!
7 months. $1,500 over budget and some stress due to a flaky painter. But she’s done finally.
Nice dude. I saw your post in a VTXOA email and decided to check it out and post pics of mine that I painted and suggest you could probably accomplish the paint job yourself. Until I saw the blue 3D smoke which the applier is not just a paint/body man, they gotta be an actual artest and able to airbrush, LoL!!! I've got my tank & fenders off again, I'm gonna repaint them with ghost POW/MIA emblem. Here's the pics after I painted my black metallic. The first shows some dirt on it after I got wet on the road.

Damn just realized I forgot to mention something. That was done using rattle cans believe it or not, LoL. My big compressor was down at the time and my smaller wouldn't supply enough constant air even being 10 gal 2hp.
2005 1800 F2Bike looks awesome! Can you make a list of all the custom components with links? What model did the mike start life as?
my father always taught me that there isn't anything I can't learn, therefore there isn't anything I can't do. and for the most part I follow that throughout my life.Nice dude. I'm 50 and it took me until about 10 years ago to just be able to do what I did to mine!!! LoL It was harder making the mounts and painting my replacement turn signals than fixing the dents and painting tank/fenders!!!my father always taught me that there isn't anything I can't learn, therefore there isn't anything I can't do. and for the most part I follow that throughout my life.
however
I can't paint, I suck at it - badly- so I don't even try.
I'm fine with a roller and a brush on a house. but I can't paint with a sprayer or rattle can, believe me I have tried many times over the years and I have learned it is just a skill set I don't have.
same age as me.I'm 50 and it took me until about 10 years ago to just be able to do what I did to mine!!! LoL It was harder making the mounts and painting my replacement turn signals than fixing the dents and painting tank/fenders!!!
Haha of course. When a teenager starts shelling out money like that there's always an ulterior motive. I think I'm gonna borrow you're LED X cutout on the rear fender. I wonder tho what it would look like with POW/MIA image cutout? I gotta get tires for mine too, but I'm still debating whether or not I want to Dark Side or not. You have an opinion? Yeah I went from 26 to 45 without a bike after T-Boning a F-150 destroying a custom from Zac's Vtwins. My neighbor had this one for sell told me it was a 1300. But after getting 3 incorrect sets of lever's, a parts seller finally told me to Google my VIN and it would tell me what it was. Come to find out it was an '08 1800 F3 which I got a killer deal on at a grand!! My bud's tell me I shoulda been arrested because I didn't buy the bike, I stole it!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣same age as me.
my X was in storage from 2007 until Feb 2021, single dad, couldn't risk another motorcycle accident, so it got stored. my daughter is 17 now, and she's the one that gave the back back to me, pulled it out of storage and paid to get it up and running for me (tire, fuel pump, injectors, oil change, battery, etc). she knew I gave it up for her, and she decided it was time for dad to get back on it.
of course she had a motive to do so. she wants to learn to ride.
Oh yeah check this out. I love showing this to HD owners.same age as me.

Mate this is stunning there’s nothing on this bike I don’t like, love the paint the only other thing I would do is a 8 degree rake on the forks, is your rear tyre 200 mm only it looks bigger in the picture, I’ve got a mint 2008 vtx-1800 f1 that’s pretty mint but wanted to do a full custom job on but I can’t get the bits I need in the uk
