So as said I went to Daytona Beach However it was just a day trip, I went Thursday afternoon and returned that night. I enjoyed my time there didn't take much for pictures, or video but I do have a couple to share.

I would also like to say I got 195 miles out of my tank on the way to. The tank wasn't quite empty but it had to be very very close. I filled 5.3 gallons on the way back I stopped after 150 miles and filled up because it was after midnight and didn't want to take any chances running out.
Plant Tire Sky Wheel Car
is there a way to put a 9 sec video up?

195 miles?! I have a stock air box, v&h baffled exhaust, and fairing. I ,too, live in Florida and can only squeeze out 32mpg.

I am not sure why your bike doesn't get that, I rode up I75 to I4 and across to daytona, I started in Port Charlotte and stopped Circle K, 4181 Orange Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771

Me neither!
So I just double checked I am only getting 36-38 mpg some places on those 2 interstates speeds were 70-80 mph, but others were 40-55 mph maybe that was the difference. on other rides where I am in more stop and go traffic I have only got 175 miles per tank, which is more in line with your 32 mpg number. What are your riding conditions? I plan on taking a few cruises down back country roads that don't have more then 55-60 mph and see what I get. I have a 1 gallon gas can that fits perfectly in a saddle bag so I can push it right up to the limit.

I've gotten 32 max but I'm rarely in 5th doing 55mph. Plus I'm sure the fairing pushe5d a lot of air. I appreciate the follow up!

I don't know how a fairing would affect things, that is a good question. have you posted pictures of your bike? I don't recall seeing the fairing

It's like pushing a big cardboard box down the road in front of you. No streamlining at all. If that doesn't sink in, here's an example. My 1800C had/has a clear w/s. My C gas tank holds 4.49 gal. My buddy Renegade Rick's 1800S had a 5.something tank, and he installed a HD full fairing. We both gassed up in New Stanton, Pa. heading for Columbus on I 70. We'd made this run before, and we always stopped at the Cambridge exit, just west of the I-77 interchange, as that was about when my light would come on. Well, he was in the lead, and 'forgot' I was running low. We got some miles past the exit and I pulled alongside him to point at my tank. Almost in the same instant, he started bucking and jerking forward and back, losing power. We pulled over, and he started out again. (NOTE that his light was not working at that time). We did this a couple times, when he pulled over again. We were just short of the exit with the Love's Truck Stop. I said I had a small plastic jar that held mini-bungies, and I would go to the truck stop and get him enough fuel to make it to the pumps. While I was getting back on the bike, holding the little jar, it started leaking as the gas was starting to dissolve the plastic. I made it to the top of the exit ramp, and here comes Rick again, not quite making the top of the exit. We hurried to get the precious fuel into his bike, then finally got to the pumps. So him adding a full fairing was losing him a gallon per tankful for travelling the distance he used to go w/o one.

Woah, then I suppose my 32mpg isn't too bad. I have yet to test my fuel light. It has to be possible to open or close the circuit to test the light, right?

My Ultimate seat came in yesterday so I put it on (apparently the corbin requires removal of the passenger front bolt down bar so that was interesting) I rode around for 40 ish miles yesterday just to check it out and it was very nice, so today I rode to Miami and down the coast all told I put 600-700 miles on I think, I rode back roads 55-65 mph and got 198 miles out of my tank, 40 of those miles with the gas light on. put in my gallon of gas and rode to the gas station rode another 150 miles and filled up again then headed home by the quickest route available I75 booking it hit triple digits a few times but tried keeping it backed off at least to 78 to 93 on the speedometer just got home 10 mins ago. was a pretty good day.
