Whoa, they weren't closed? Everything was closed around here today. And that means that most people stayed on their a**es at home instead of participating in the new national weekend sport: shopping. Roads were clear and I enjoyed riding too. Not as clear as when they locked sheeple up almost 2 years ago but clear enough to ride at a decent speed.Another nice day for a ride in the afternoon, 69*F

Sweet new ride though. Enjoy the milesYesterday was bittersweet.
I traded my VTX in for a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager.
I will miss this bike as it has been an awesome ride.

What quick disconnect did you use? I've had a plastic one with Viton o-ring on my bike for 7 or 8 years now. It's on the tank return line, not the high pressure side with the fuel rail. You simply squeeze with a thumb and index finger and it pops apart. I bought mine through Aerostich for ~ $20.Removed the PAIR system from my 2007 1800N. So glad to see those hoses out of the way! Put a quick disconnect fitting and fuel filter behind the tank, too.
Got it from Gotham cycles, would have to look up the part number, but it did come with a petroleum resistant o-ring, plus an extra. What quick disconnect did you use? Hey buddy, did you watch the video posted by brettp? If so, did you mount your disconnect in a similar location? What quick disconnect did you use? I watched the video, and in the comments the owner said the part number was GC38. However, a search for GC38 on gothamcycles got zero results. an you supply the part number or a link to the part? No. I cut my return line under the tank and mounted it there, where there was an S bend in the line. You can't see it unless you actually want to lift or remove the tank.Hey buddy, did you watch the video posted by brettp? If so, did you mount your disconnect in a similar location?
Does your '03 have the fuel pump in the tank? I don't think my '06 has a return line.No. I cut my return line under the tank and mounted it there, where there was an S bend in the line. You can't see it unless you actually want to lift or remove the tank.
Yes, the pump is in the tank on 02-03's.Does your '03 have the fuel pump in the tank? I don't think my '06 has a return line.
I changed my 1300 final drive out to an 1800 final drive. I pull a trailer with one of my 1300C's and needed the extra take off power in 1st gear. It made my speedo and odo WAY off, so I installed a HealTech Speedohealer. Now my speedo measures 1-2% faster, (which is negligible in my opinion) instead of the 10% it used to be off. My odometer measures 3% fewer miles now than actually traveled instead of 3% more like it used to. My odo shows 114,980 miles, soooo, when I get to 229,960 miles it will be correct!!!!!!!
