Love the new colors. Been riding a lot here in Florida
29 to 31 degrees F of the few weather stations I saw in eastern Canada.
Looks like some snow also.
Red "C" model... That will work well. Watch out for the gators..Enjoy the ride!

Actually, did this just yesterday: replaced the headlight bulb and brake light bulb to LED. A lot better. The headlight low beam did not work anyway and it appeared fairly dim on high beam.
Aiming for better visibility (others seeing me) day especially and night.

Went for a ride today, 15 miles is all. Had an errand to run and bike begged me to feel the 85 degree weather. Bike is a 2007 1800n and now has 110mi on the trip. I'll take it to 125 before I fill up; have never seen the lie fuel indicator light up and not sure if it will. At 125, it should. Tomorrow is supposed to be similar weather, it's pure torture.

Sensor = Thermistor, 1k ohms when wet, when in air it begins heating, resistance goes down, indicator goes on.
You can measure the resistance and also short the sensor wire to Ground to see if the indicator is working.

I remember your post some time ago mentioning the same, Hans! I haven't shorted to ground to test it, yet. If the light doesn't come on I'll give that a try.

You ride in GA?

Today I treated ol’ Black Betty to an oil change, inserted a fresh Yuasa battery, and gave her a bath. Early signs of oxidation were setting in on the polished fork tubes and lowers so I massaged them with a very fine steel wool. Topped off the tires then stretched her legs out on the highway for a 72-mile ride to Josie’s Hideout Saloon this afternoon.

The ol’ girl felt sooo estranged as I’ve gotten accustomed to piling miles on the FJR I’d bought 14 months ago, and the two bikes are worlds apart in every facet.

The 1800 had been neglected for the better part of a year. Primarily because the instrument panel is not functional anymore. I was slightly concerned about the old fuel sitting in the tank, but it didn’t turn out to be problematic. Nearly forgot how LOUD the X is! Dang.

Nonetheless, the riding experience is still blissful as ever even after all these years!

Things I need to tend to I discovered today are: apply die electric grease to the indicator switch; switch currently only depresses inward to “cancel.” Had to use hand signals, subsequently. Need to lube the kickstand pivot, and bleed the brakes. Oh, and have a more competent mechanic try to revive the gauges.

I haven't done much to my bike lately, except for adding a Cyclops 10.0 LED light, and an analog clock for the handlebars.

I added these guys to my bike a year or so ago. I don't know why it took me so long to get the bluetooth air pressure display!
I rely on it alot!!

I can't quite make out the name on the face of the analog clock there on the left. What is it? Thanks. I know 'Clocks4Bikes' went out of business several years ago.

Off-road adventures. When will the saddlebag on exhaust pipe light up.?
Throttle cables look tight. tie wrap holding headlight shroud in place.
Frt fender mounting bolt, a crack going up, looks like a wire trying to keep it together.
I can right click on many pictures and it opens a large picture in my browser.
WEBP image 1920 x 1440 pixels, I can see the details.
