I just goes to show, you can sell anything if you market it right. Even global warming, late term abortion, gender fluidity, socialism and impeachment. It's funny what some people will buy, regardless of the price.

You forgot to include the Third Reich, and the currently under construction Fourth Reich.

It also applies to motorcycles, some will pay $20K and over. What something is worth to one person may be overpriced to another. It all depends on person's income, if money comes easily to you, you'll spend more. If you don't make much money you'll be more careful with purchases.

Remember when everything went "clear" for a bit? Soda/soft drinks/pop, dish soaps, deodorants, toothpastes, everything had to be clear. That was a weird period. What was that? Early-to-mid '90s? Mid-to-late? I forget, but it was everything for a while, there.

I remember some 20 or so years back people were buying tumbleweeds in the eastern states for about $25 each. TUMBLEWEEDS!

My wife and I were attacked by a killer tumbleweed in Texas, on our way to Arizona back in 2007. Dented the hood and permanently scratched our windshield. Wonder what a killer TW would have brought back then.

Sign lied when it said "Welcome to Texas".

I believe four advertising and marketing executives were having too many drinks one night when one bragged, "I'm so good, I can market and sell TURTLES as super-heroes! Top that!"

The second ad exec said, "I'm so good, I can market and sell TEENAGE TURTLES as super heroes! Top that!"

The third ad exec said, "Really? I'm so good I can market and sell TEENAGE MUTANT TURTLES as super heroes! Top that!"

With that, the fourth ad exec bragged, "I'm so good, I can market and sell TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES as superheroes AND syndicate them to comics, TV, and clothing lines! Top that!"

The rest is history! In what other context does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles make sense?
