Come on guys/gals! After well over 200 reads I only have one opinion . I am just looking for a reasonable/realistic price to ask. I would sure love some responses.

KBB list resale value at $6435. Probably not get too much more than that. Could return to stock and sell accessories separately.

Sorry, but you asked.

RARVTX,
Thanks for the feedback. I've been asking $6000.00. I just wanted to make sure that my price wasn't going overboard.
Again, thanks for responding!

I don't think you'll have any problems getting $6,000.00. That's the price I was gonna recommend for a quick sale. You may be able to get $6300.00 if you take your time, but after another month or so, the market may start dropping due to approaching autumn.

Another thought on asking price

$5,500 is about right. $6,000 may be a little high for 2004 with so many new going for the low $6,000 area.

I never have an asking price. Never have, never will. If I sell something I tell them what I have got to have, or want. They don’t meet my price, they can walk. They want to haggle, go see the Gypsies, or cross the border.

Same thing when I buy. I tell you what I will pay. You don’t take it, and I will thank you and get on down the trail. Or I will just pay the price you asked if it is right or fair. If it is not, I don’t even bother to ask. Price it at what you will take and drop the asking price in the trash where it belongs.

Contrary to popular belief, everything is not negotiable (except sweet love).

I think you need to make a beach run before you sell the scoot. Is it the neck or lack of riding that has prompted the sale? Haven't had much time to ride here either  . We closed on the new house today. Would love to have you and your better half back down whenever you can make it.

Oh - you better tell any prospective buyers that it is the slow silver vtx model so you don't get their hopes up!

Dogdoc,
I'll give you a call to set up a get together. May have sold the bike - 2 people were looking today and one gentleman said it's set up just the way he wants it.....we'll see what happens. Talk to you later!
