Just ordered pipes (bub jug huggers) a few minutes ago and am now looking for an air filter setup. I just wanted to know what type of gains to expect with different setups. I like the open filament style filters and the hyperchargers but I'm concerned since I seem to get caught in the rain quiet frequently that the filters would become saturated with water. I've also seen the stock style that have designs cut out, how do these compare to just doing a k&n or the open element style?

Any and all opinions or suggestions are welcome.

I have the Baron's Big Air Kit. It flows alot of air, comparable to the Thunder. The Hypercharger is alot of show and no go. Be realistic about the HP gains. You should expect 5 to 7 hp at best with any set up. I'm just getting ready to switch from the Dynojet jet kit to the Factory Pro kit, I hear it's alot better. As far as the rain goes, the BAK comes with a rain cover and I have never had any trouble with the bike running in a down pour.
