Well, it didn't cut and paste as well as I hoped, but you can see below the December "Consumer Reports" rankings on GPS Units from best to worst. The only thing that pasted was the unit name, cost, rating and screen size. I don't want to spend over $500 and it looks like the prices have went down quite a bit since this report. As you can see, the nuvi 350 was ranked the highest with a 79 rating, and the Pharoz EZ Road was ranked the lowest with a 38 rating.

My background: I am very directionally challenged! I will use the unit in my car mostly, but want to be able to use it on my bike for my rarely made long trip. I have to have the maps preloaded because I am computer eliterate! I do have a bluetoothe piece for my cell phone, but not even sure how or if I would use it on the bike. Is bluetoothe the only difference between the nuvi 350 and 360 - if so, is it worth it. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Thanks in advance for your comments,

X-Cane

I did a great deal of research and felt the nuvi 350 was best for $$$. Found it for under $400. Bought the zumo 550 instead for $675. Its designed for motorcycles and doesn't have vibration issues.

A bit more but its a great unit.

Well....if you can handle loading the maps (it's easy)...you can find refurb garmin 2610's for $250 or so.
Very bike friendly unit. I also throw it in the car. Works great. Not as fancy as the latest and greatest, but it's good enough for my needs.
