 I'm ready to buy a windshield for my 06-1300C and I can't make up my mind between these two: Memphis shades 21in or the National Cycle 2-up????????????????????

Only looking at the pictures online, it seems to me that the National Cycle piece is much stronger looking and it's a little cheaper too. HDL has both on sale so I'd like opinions about which one is the best--in your opinion!

Thanks, Sam

I have a NC 2-up and love it - it's made riding on interstate so much fun - I do get some wind buffetting as high speeds. I like the NC switchblade mount, coz it will work with the other 2-3 windshields they have. I have the shorty in my future list to buy for those local rides, I will then have three easy options...2-up, shorty or nothing.

i have the Memphis Shade and C'dude has the NC. the NC windshield is easier to take off and the "brackets" look nicer.

the NC shield curves a little more than the MS which could be a good and bad thing.

my MS is a few years old now and Windex is out of the question whereas with the NC, it is fine to use.

if i was to get another shield and bracket, i would get the NC this time.

IMHO

:) Thanks for the replies folks! I've decided to buy the NC-2up shield from our sponsor of this site and will order it today 6-30-07.

Do I call their number to order and talk to a real person and mention the discount secret word: "HOTDOG" or do I just fill in the web page form and hope for the best?????? I want to do this correctly and would appreciate any comments!

So far I have the HONDA OEM passenger backrest and luggage rack, and have a COBRA-FAT engine guard, with footpegs. Also have a few of my leather tool pouches and luggage rack packs that I used on my 2003 1800VTX Retro. After the windshield, I'll set my sights on a comfortable seat! I love the Mustang seat that I had on my Suzuki 800 Volusia, so I may go with that.

Happy 4th of July and GOD bless America! Pray for our men and women in Uniform! I'm a Veteran, 1966-1970 U.S. Air Force.

Take care! Sam
