Got a topic over in the Harley board about drag racing. A few harley guys getting 11.8 or 11.9 sec @ the 1/4.

I did mention how the stock VTX will do the 1/4 in 12.12 seconds.

they say that the majority of the average riders can't do that time. They're probably right there.

However, they're also saying that the fastest time they've seen for a VTX at the strip was mid 13's.

I'm sure some of you here have gotten close to that 12.12, and if your one of those guys that hotrodded your bike...I bet your doin even better.

I want to hear your times.

High 11's are attainable on the 88 inch motors with bigger jugs, cams, headwork and a good map. The mid 13's they're referring to are probably 1300's.
