Speedo rattle, headlight rattle, front end wobble, ecm wiring,engine noise, starter switch etc; etc;...........you gotta love the X.
I moved up from an AERO 750 a couple of years ago and I don't recall that bike having the distinct personality for little annoyances that the 1300 has. With that said, this forum is must for any new owner.
I wonder how much money this forum has saved new owners and how much it has cost Honda dealers in service charges. (maybe this forum has foiled their plot.)
Anyway, you would think Honda would remedy these things themselves so we could concentrate on windshields and buffetting.

This forum has been (and is) a great boon to me as I've broken into the X world. There are plenty of folks here with a wealth of knowledge (go ahead and stand up, Poison) who are most anxious to help out. As for the odd little nuances of the X ... Looking back, I think all my other bikes had them (albeit different ones of course), but I think I was too young and too broke to worry with most of them. Basically, if it didn't stop me from riding, I didn't worry with it. :shock: Older now ... as are most of the guys on the board and I think sometimes we obsess with things that we wouldn't have in another place and time. None of it really matters though ... as I've never seen a U-Haul hooked up to a hearse. :lol:
