I have 2004 1300C with the Hondaline Windshield. I want to replace plastic only and use the existing hardware. I am looking on J&P Cycles http://www.jpcycles.com/2004-honda-vtx1300c/replacement-windshields?Nao=0 Looks like all the have is Memphis Shades. I'm not sure what, if any, of those shields will work with the Hondaline hardware.

If it will work, it shows shields for 7" and 9" headlights (Fats and Slims), I measured mine and to be honest I'm not sure, but is the stock headlight, the opening on the Hondaline Shield is 10" but squared, with a fair amount of clearance.

One of the shields they show already has wholes in it but not sure it will line up with hardware. Would I just need to use old shield as a guide and drill new holes?

As you can tell I'm not much of a wrench :tools: but I'm trying on this at least.

Any help, information or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

This is where I am going to order from when I get ready to replace mine. They build them to work with the Honda line hardware.

I'm really interested in the re-curve option that they have now.

Well after actually reading a little further, all the Memphis Shades shields say they will not work as an OEM replacement. So back to the drawing board.

Guess I'll check the pricing of a new shield and hardware. Of course then guess need to make sure will work with hondaline lightbar.

I have 2 national cycle switchblade quick detach windshields I'd be willing to part with, with hardware. PM me. I have the full size (2 up) and the chopped in smoke tint. Love them, but put on a fairing. Will sell for a song and dance.
