I am going to direct wire my GPS and was going to install a distribution panel per an article in Canyon Chasers.

I have a stebel horn installed with a relay. I think I should be able to connect the GPS to the hot wire from the relay to the horn and gound.

It seems to me as it would be the same as hooking it up to a distribution panel connected to a relay.

Anyone see a problem?

you'd want to tie in to the hot wire from the batt to the relay, not the one from the relay to the horn. otherwise your GPS would only have power when on the horn. I think that could get frustrating if ya had to nail the horn to use the gps

Depending on how many electrical addons you intend you might want to think about a fuse block(I did), there is not much room on the batt. terminals and their prone to loosening on ther own. .02 Good luck
