OK, please forgive me, but I have to cancel my participation.

We're currently in Harrison Arkansas.

Yesterday,we got rear ended at a stoplight and the bike went down to the left, pinning my left foot underneath. Police n ambulance showed up and everyone was very helpful.

We're gonna be OK. Nothing broken, but it's ugly, and we're both very sore this morning...... and a bit cranky.

Managed to ride the bike the one mile to the hotel and load it onto a trailer.

Sir,
I am glad that you both are ok. I would imagine you both will be sore for a few days. I had a minor incident last Monday and was reminded of how quickly things can can. Prayers for a quick recovery.

Keep us posted on the condition of the bike.

Thanks.

Will drop the bike off tomorrow for an estimate.

UPDATE 10/28: $1,750 in damages. The guy's insurance is sending their own "adjuster". They tell me that "it's our fault, and we'll get you a check as soon as we estimate the damages"

Sooooo.....

In the mean time, we had a little incident on Thursday morning.

It appears that deer season is early this year.

This car has ten airbags and they all went off.

THAT was an exceptional experience.

Be careful - a hit like this on a motorcycle would be a lot less pleasant.

ATGATT would be a plus this time of year.

Just sayin'.

They say bad luck runs in 3's............ Hang on!

I agree about a deer hit on a bike. I haven't had any problems yet with them. But try to not ride in the dark much. That helps drop the odds.
