Does anyone know if the Corbin Chin Spoiler will mount when also using the Kury Cruise Peg Mounts? I currenly have them, and would like to add the chin spoiler, but I wasnt sure if it would fit. I will be calling the customer service reps at Corbin...but than again...those customer service guys arent always as informative as somebody who has already "been there, done that" or been there, tried that, and it didnt work!!"

The bike is a 2002 C model.

Anybody got the answers?? thanks in advance!

Spike, is that your previously-owned 2002 VTX in the picture you posted? If so, I'd like to PM you with a couple of questions.

Thanks,

Todd

Yes that was my VTX. If you want to know about the airbox, it was called a Proton 4. A limited production run of around 125 units, it is no longer made. Last I heard, there was some fighting over the rights of the unit and locked in courts so it may never be made again.

Nope, I'm actually interested in the other exterior parts - what you did on chroming the forks, front fender mounts, the rad shroud and side pieces, and rims/tires as well - essentially which mods you put on the bike that I can see in the picture. That was a beautiful bike, and I really like most of the chrome or body mods that you had on it.

OK;
Chroming was done by a local chromer to me. He did;
Forks
Triple trees
Calipers
Swingarm/driveshaft

The extra body pieces are Corbin Chin spoiler, and PM Enterprises "Switch blade" side covers

Handlebars were "One Off" made bars for me by www.airdesigncustoms.com in Boise Idaho

The bars had Performance Machine "Contour" controls with Arlen NEss grips and throttle housings, and Dakota Digital speedo/tach frenched into the center

Wheels were RC Components "Venon" design with matching rotors

Thanks for the info, Spike. She was a beautiful beast, and I hope you got top dollar for her (who ever bought her was a lucky dog).

I've decided that I definitely want to chrome out a lot more of my bike in the upcoming year or two. I've been trying to decide if the Kuryakyn cover route will suffice or if I will need to go the route you did with getting the factory parts chromed. I'm also going to get a custom set of chrome rims - not sure what yet. What tire size did you have on your VTX?

The bummer is that I've heard that the Corbin Chin spoiler and the side panels are no longer made. If that's true, my only chance is finding someone who's willing to part with them used.

Thanks again,

Todd

Ditto on Corbin gurus. Just ordered a "Young Guns" seat from them. For the price that I paid for the seat, you'd think these guys would be more knowledgeable about the products that they sell.
