Ok, remember I'm fairly new to motorcycles. Have only been riding bikes for a year now. I hear people talking about putting their bikes on a dyno testing machine to have them "fine tuned". What exactly is dyno testing and is it beneficial? Who would do it?

Stock motorcycles, such as the VTX, do not require dyno testing, for anything other than bragging rights, as to which engine has the most power. I think the range of HP for the VTX1300 is 58 to 62 for box stock configuration.
Unless the dyno run is free, I suggest that you save your money for bling.
