Re: SS Screws for Reservoir Cover

Hi Bone ...

I'll speak for my situation. The OEM screw is a standard Philips head screw. The SS screw looks like it is a kind of hex-head screw, but I'm not sure that it is a real hex-head. I pulled the hex tools and the Philips screw driver from my Honda Tool Kit (the OEM kit that comes with the bike), but the hex tools were too large and the Philips screw driver wouldn't quite engage the head of the screw. I just now went out to the garage and tried another option because I remembered that I'd purchased a small Cruz tool kit (like a Swiss Army Knife) and that it had a small hex head tool on it, but but the small hex tool was still too large to engage the screw-head, and the Philips screw driver on the Cruz tool was still too large. I wish I was versed enough in the tools we use to speak more clearly about this ... sorry, I'm still kind of ignorant about this stuff.
The screw is metric and requires a 2.5 mm allen wrench. If you would rather to have the chrome hex ones I'd be glad to send you a pair. Or the same kind if those are messed uo.

Thanks, Bone ... got it covered. The main problem is my ignorance, but I'm working at getting smarter every day. The cover looks great, and it's now fastened tightly to the reservoir with the SS screws! Thanks again!
