HANDLER did a nice write-up on this. It does take a bit of work, but he did it. Do a search and/or PM him; I'm sure he could fill you in with the details.

 

Does anyone know if the Neo Spec 3 Radiator is the same size and configuration as the 1800 C?
I need to replace my chin cowl (Hondaline) and have been considering adding chrome rad trim and if the original from a Neo would fit, that would be my choice.

No I am not. I am just giving some info here. I did the mod and as ThreeD indicated, I did a very in depth review on this some time back. I would NOT do it again. It was a big job and I had to do a lot of improvising.
The new N series radiator is very slighlty different in size from the C radiator. As such it's a pain in the butt. I really doubt there is enough money to get me to do another one of these. I do LOVE the look of the end result. I wanted an all black model to blend into the frame but the chrome lower draws a lot of attention and most people like it. I'd take a look at the Hoppe unit (smaller one) if you like this look. It can be had in all black or painted to any color you wish. It is not available in chrome however. Good luck, mike
