I have an 05 1800f. My speedo dropped off this morning. I have check the battery cables and are tight. Any other idea. Also where is the sensor?

Check under the gas tank, left side forward... 2 connectors side by side... one is for the speedometer. could have become disconnected... ON mine water got inside the rubber boot/cover and the speedometer quit... I dried out the connector and put WD40 on it.

You do not need to remove the tank.. look under and you will see the wires
That would make sense since I blew the bike dry lastnight. fig it had something to do with a connection. thanks for info. I will check once home.
