Is it just mine, or are others finding that the chrome job has gone to crap fast? There are little specs everywhere like it was an old bumper from a fifties car. I wash the bike regularly, polish it and all, but this thing looks like crap after two years, while every other chrome piece I have is fine-most of which are older.
I'm thinking of painting it. How should I get the rest of the bad chrome job off? Sandblaster? Sand by hand?
