I located the switch on the left side of the gas tank about half way back on the bottom flat. Push the switch forward its off, pull the switch back towards the passenger and the seat "comes "alive. Thats how I know if its on or off without having to look for the red led.

Update

Ok here's an update.. the bike now has 19,000 miles on it and a full season with this installed. The unit that fits into the seat has burned out (the actual vibrator). This was after extensive use, roughly 1000m of "On" time over the course of one season if i had to guess. It finally went out after a week of riding where it was on every day for about 2 hrs a day.

(BTW: I'm not trying to gloat about girls on my bike, just trying to give an idea of how much it took to cause the unit to burn out.)

I spoke with the manufacturer and they gladly replaced the unit for cost. According to them they made some revisions to make this newer unit more robust. I recieved the replacment promptly, although it appears the same as the old one it's working great once again.

I bought it for mine also - installed it the other day, haven't tried it out yet except for wife and co-worker checking it out. I will also update when I get some feedback on it, I could see a side business out of this, selling tickets for a ride on my X!! That turbo button is incredible - massages my back when you hit it!

could you possibly install through the bottom side of the passenger pillon as not to upset the looks of your good seat(looking to put one on my as of now stock 1800c)
I found it was easy to install it in the stock seat and if you take your time and do it right you don't even know it's there. The only thing you can see when you look at my seat is the fact that I shaved the sides down on both sides to make it contoured for my wifes legs for more comfort on longer rides. You don't even know that the little bullet is there until you push down with your hand and feel it. I'll have to take some pics of it and post them - will do that in the near future.
