I am unfamiliar with the carborator and wish to do my self. has anyone done this and are the jets and mixture under the body of the carb or towards the face? or I will find out when I get home. would love a schematic to view if available. please rerply

Im gonna take a stab at helping you out, there are lots on here that will be more help than me.

First off I saw your other post regarding 1500 conversion. Im gonna assume you have a stock motor and carb because Ive never heard of any such conversion. And if it were available Im sure someone here would have done it.

You say the bike has been rejetted and youve added some sort of air box. Do you know what jet and needle position are in it and how many turns on mixture screw? Also what kind of air box? Who did the rejet and was it done at colorado altitude? AFtermarket pipes? K&N Filter?

How is the bike running?

You'll need a "D" shaped tool to adjust the mixture, should come with the jet kit. To get to the main jet you'll need to remove the bottom half of carb.

Heres a link to a schematic
